Everything You Need to Know Before Your Desert Adventure
Our most frequently asked questions to help you prepare for the trip of a lifetime.
Q: How many hours per day do we spend in the car?
A: Although the distances are long, we do not drive for more than two hours continuously. The journey is divided into enjoyable stops approximately every 90 minutes, including places such as Ifrane, cedar forests, Ziz Valley oasis, and scenic spots in the Dades area. This makes the road part of the experience, not just transportation.
Q: Where will we spend the second night, and what is the accommodation standard?
A: On the second night, you will stay in carefully selected local hotels or traditional riads in the Dades Valley or Ouarzazate. We ensure private, air-conditioned rooms with mountain views and warm Moroccan hospitality, allowing you to relax and recharge before continuing the journey.
Q: Does the tour end in Marrakech or return to Fes?
A: This tour is very flexible. By default, it ends in Marrakech to save you time and effort. However, if you prefer to return to Fes, we can arrange that for you with no hidden extra costs. Simply let us know your final destination at the time of booking.
Q: Is riding a camel the only way to reach the desert camp?
A: Not at all. If you prefer not to ride a camel, we can take you to the desert camp by 4×4 vehicle at no extra cost. Your comfort is our top priority.
Q: Is there Wi-Fi or electricity at the desert camp?
A: Our desert camps are equipped with electricity inside the tents, allowing you to charge your phones and cameras. As for internet access, the desert is a place for tranquility; however, mobile network coverage (4G) is available in most areas of the camp, and Wi-Fi is provided in the camp’s reception area.
Q: Which meals are included in the price?
A: The tour price includes daily breakfast and dinner.
Q: What should I bring for the desert tour?
A: We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, warm layers for the night, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, comfortable shoes, and a small backpack. A camera is also highly recommended.
Q: What is the weather like in the desert?
A: During the day, the weather is usually warm to hot depending on the season, while nights can be cool or cold, especially in winter. Layered clothing is advised.
Q: Is this tour suitable for children or seniors?
A: Yes, the tour is suitable for children and seniors with normal mobility. The itinerary includes regular stops to ensure comfort during the journey.

A: Yes, in the evening you can enjoy traditional Berber music, drumming by the campfire, stargazing, and a peaceful desert atmosphere.
Q: Can we bring large luggage?
A: Yes, large luggage is allowed and transported by vehicle. Only a small bag is needed for the night at the desert camp.
Q: Are there any additional costs?
A: Lunches, drinks, personal expenses, and entrance fees to some monuments are not included and are paid on site.
